The Conjuring

This film is a must see, scared myself with this one, fantastic story line, i belive this story is good because it is baised on truth, yes we all know it has been dramatised a little well maybe a lot but the facts are out there, i will post links to the facts.

The story line plot etc are strong the acting is pretty good, after watching this i am not ashamed to admit i wanted the lights on.

Story centres on the house hold of a family, that seem to have different things happening to htem that cannnot be explaiined, its not what you do not see its what you dont see, there are suttle glimses of IT in the most unexpected places, you feel asa if your thurst for more information, for more of the story and you can also feel the atmosphere and fear within the story and the family.

For me it threw up more questions than aswers, i now I wonder if a demonic entity can possess any inanimate item, nothing is safe.
I would recommend that you see this at the cinema fantastic film, would watch this again so that's a good indication

Olympus has fallen

Well yet again another film that i thought was going to keep me interested, nope wrong again a pretty mediocre film, yes does have action but stiff acting and no real content to the plot made this film a chore to watch, i would not waste anybody's money paying to to see this.

Pretty flimsy plot bodyguard has a life crises due to be not able to save the presidents wife, she dies, bodyguard falls apart. New threat enters the scene ow and guess what the bodyguard is the only person left to save the day.

this film has undertones of Die Hard......................but not quite got the mojo to be a contender.

I watched this film after watching the trailer, which i must say was more entertaining than the film, watch the trailer should be your only contact with this film, i will add the trailer below for you to see.

don't waste your money wait for the dvd and make sure its on special.

R.I.P.D film review

Well see this film last night, not at all what i expected after watching the trailer i think i was expecting something with a little stronger story line, i felt as if much of the content was stolen from other films that i have seen, like M.I.B, Men in Black and Ghost-busters.

The basic story is of a cop that gets killed by his partner over some stolen gold, that turns out to be an ancient artifact that will allow the dead to fall to earth. On being killed Rick (Ryan Reynold) proceeds to heaven to be judged, on the way he gets pulled into the waiting room and recruited into the Rest In Peace Department, the police of the dead, the deados are on earth and need to be brought back to be judged.

You get the drift of the story line, on watching the film i did get a strong essence of M.I.B within the heavenly police department, with strange monster/creatures roaming around in handcuffs, cops with out of this world guns. On the earth side of the story i got a feeling of ghost-busters with the ancient artifact opening a portal to allow the dead to fall to earth and kill all the living population.

All in all a film for the family to watch i would not say it would be a film i could watch again, i would not recommend that a trip to the cinema was in order to watch, i would wait for the film to come to DVD.
